Lipo Chargers

Lithium-ion polymer batteries or Lipo for short  are type of battery mostly used in your consumer electronic devices such as cell phone, ipads, watch, radio and now they can even be found in power tools. Lipo batteries have gained popularity in the RC hobby for well over 20 years now. They are the power house of batteries providing high power with wide array of benefits to your RC toys. Our micro RC airplanes generally use a 1s battery, which provides 4.2 volts of power fully charged. Generally lipo batteries will take anywhere from 10 to 40 minutes to charge, depending on the charger and the battery C rating. 1S or 1 cell lipo batteries are a lot simpler to charge as they do not require balancing of multiple cells and simple charging devices can be used such as USB chargers. Below are a few pocket size micro USB chargers that we recommend using with your 1s lipo batteries.

Remember to always be next to your charger when charging lipo batteries and never leave sight. These batteries are powerful and if fully charged and shorted, they will smoke and dispense heat. Always practice safe charging with lip batteries.
